Four buddies journey from the rollicking highs of high school into sobering reality of the real world – and beyond. Written and performed by Juilliard graduate Jesse Wilson, with original music by Mad Francis, Face the City is the autobiographical adventure of an aspiring young actor seeking fame and fortune in New York City who, along with his friends – a Painter, a Journalist, and a Composer – is forced to come to terms with loss, compromise and finally escape from false dreams. Combining one-man theatre, original rock music, animation and film, Face the City delivers a unique theatrical experience that’s powerful, brutally honest, often hilarious, and exhilerating.

"Our student's were incredibly inspired by Face the City. One visual art student in particular saw art and expression in a completely different way! He saw it in movement, writing and story-telling. He saw it as worth taking a risk in trying it himself! What you put out there that night introduced some of our most visually talented and focused youth to a new form of self-expression which has made them richer as artists and people.
